Giant Class have been really busy over the past few weeks .............

 

In maths, we have been learning to tell the time in the 12 hour and 24 hour format.

Maths

In Maths, we have been learning about measurement. We focused on measuring length to the nearest cm and mm as well as measuring the perimeter of 2D shapes and irregular shapes. We really enjoyed estimating measurements and and comparing it to the accurate measurements!

This week, we have had a brilliant time starting our new IPC topic by visiting the Wetlands Centre. 

We spent the whole day outside enjoying being so close to the water and to all the animals living there; we even saw otters and many birds!
