Final week of this half term and what a half term it has been. 

Everyone should be incredibly proud of themselves for their contribution to our play, 'The Enormous Turnip'. You were all brilliant! You sang the songs confidently and said your lines loudly, well done!

Fairy Class have enjoyed the lovely spring weather recently; they've spent lots of time learning outside. They've been working on their physical development by balancing on the see-saw, writing with chalk on the playground and making large numbers in the water tray. 

Fairy Class had the most amazing day at Kew today. We visited different greenhouses which had lots of interesting plants and flowers. Such a great day!!

'Reception had an amazing time at Forest School this week.

We played in the mud, looked at flowers, used the logs to make dens and practiced our rope skills.'

A huge thank you to all the parents who came to celebrate our learning for our exit point. We enjoyed painting our favourite animals, sorting animals with their babies and playing in the farm role play.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful half term.

We've had such a busy week in Fairy Class working on addition in maths, outdoor learning (with the ice!) doing special painting with bubble wrap and exploring our new reading tent. 

This week we have been learning all about animals and how to care for them. We have pretended to be vets in our home corner and even got to look after real-life guinea pigs.

There is lots to celebrate in Fairy Class! We started our week on Monday by dressing up as rockstars to celebrate World Maths Day. As well as having lots of fun maths activities we enjoyed playing instruments and making up songs. Well done to Sienna who won our class's best dressed rockstar!
