We made it! The end of a half term of remote learning!

We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your hard work in supporting the children this half term. It has been a huge challenge for us all but you have risen to it and made the best of it for your children.

As we have said all along, please do not worry if you haven’t managed to do every piece of learning with your children, if you are managing to do a few things each day, then you are doing brilliantly.  We will support your child to make excellent progress once they return to school.

And, some exciting news to start your half term week.....

Throughout Autumn 2020, the Creative Learning Mentors Foundation have been working in Year 5 enabling the children to have some wonderful learning experiences, lead by Elle Hamblen, to whom we are very grateful.

As a result of this project, the children were given the chance to enter the 2020 Art Prize. I'm delighted to say that several of the children at Oxford Gardens who entered have been selected as winners or runners up in various categories. The Winners will receive a £50 voucher for Cass Art and runners up will receive a £15 voucher for Cass Art. Please find a list of the winners and runners up below:

Congratulations to all the pupils for their brilliant creativity, and endless thanks to the Miss Hamblen and the Creative Mentors Foundation for all their support and amazing opportunities.

Finally, we hope that you have a relaxing half term week and get to spent some time as a family, away from screens.

Take care everyone
