Please click here to access the letter sent out to you last week detailing our plans for Friday 14th June, the Grenfell Anniversary. We have various activities planned for the day which are all explained in the letter. Please read this carefully, and do not hesitate to come in should you wish to discuss anything about the day with us, or it may simply be that you need reassurance. We are here. It is very important that we draw strength from one another, as we have done throughout these two years.

We would like to invite everyone to our Community afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m. Tomorrow, your child will bring home an invitation to this event which we would be delighted for you to attend:

June 14th 2019 – Two Years Together

A couple of other pieces of news........

Here is a link from Place2Be who have resources for our Year 6 families to support you with moving on to secondary school. It is hard to believe that we are nearly at that transition point again; the year has really flown past. Please access these resources and we hope you find them helpful. Should you require any additional support or help with managing this period of change, then please do not hesitate to see one of the Year 6 Team, or a senior leader on the Gate.

Look at our whale !

Our mission is to reduce the amount of single use plastic that we all use as part of our daily lives. Tomomi has already filled our playgrounds with the most beautiful mosaics made from plastic bottle tops, with picture designs based around the theme ‘Planet Earth’. Now, we have a whale as the next creation that is currently being constructed from plastic bottles. It is planned that it will be permanently displayed on the roof of the POD as a reminder for us to all use refillable water bottles, and not buy bottled water. Watch this space to see the whale gradually being revealed over the next few weeks.
