Welcome to the Summer Term.

Always busy, but the most exciting thing is that this year we can finally have events. So, here are a few dates that we are asking you to place in your calendars as we would love to welcome as many families as possible. It will be great to open our doors to community gatherings once again.

Wednesday 18th May – International Day

This day has been designed by our amazing School Council and Rights Respecting Committee. As part of the day, parents and carers are being invited into school to attend a special International Cafe. Planning for this event has been finalised and you can read all about this special day by clicking on the link below.

Parents and carers will be invited into school for the afternoon, to take part in a Platinum Jubilee Street Party, to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen as she becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. Details will follow shortly.

Tuesday 14th June – Grenfell 5th Anniversary

Parents, carers, children and staff will all be invited to come together in the afternoon to take part in craft activities based in the classroom and then come together to enjoy afternoon tea in the playground. Further details will be available after half term.

We are all really looking forward to being able to welcome you once again and please do not hesitate to contact us should you need further information or a question regarding any of the above.

I am sure that you would want to join me in wishing the children every success next week; they have all been completely amazing and shown incredible perseverance and dedication to achieving their very best. A huge thank you to the amazing Year 6 Staff Team who have worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone is confident and poised to succeed.
