A very cold morning greeted us today as we reach the end of November.

Last week was very busy with Parent Consultations. Thank you to everyone for adapting to the new phone appointment system which we have introduced due to the current restrictions. If you were unable to talk to your child’s class teacher, then please do not hesitate to contact the office and we will ensure that a call at a suitable time is arranged.

This week Ms McCrindle ran an Incredible Years Phonics workshop which was very well attended. Please remember that even though we are currently unable to invite parents into the school, you are always welcome to talk with someone on the gate should you need support or any help with your child’s learning. We will always do everything that we can to support you and your family, so please always remember to ask.

This week we had our Autumn Term Governing Body Meeting and welcomed three new members: CClr Walaa Idris joined us as our new LA Governor and two new Co-opted Governors; Arjun Kohli and Lauren Charsleyi. We are delighted that they have joined our Governing Body, and further information about our new members will shortly be available on our Governors website pages.

After the Christmas holidays, some of the children will be beginning online tutoring in school.  This is tutoring, which is part-funded by the Department for Education and part funded by the school. It will be to support children who may have made less progress because of the lockdown.  If your child is going to have tutoring in January, you will receive a letter in the next week or so. Please return this letter to your child’s class teacher.

As always, many thanks for all your endless support during these difficult times and please remember that we are always here to help.

Have a restful weekend and we look forward to welcoming you on Monday.
