As the penultimate week of our school year comes to a close we would like to thank parents for attending the Learning Celebrations this week and the KS1 and KS2 Sports Days.  Next week there are more events at school that parents are invited to come along to– EYFS Sports Day, Reception Graduation Ceremony and the Nursery Graduation Ceremony.

A huge well done to Year 6 for their outstanding performances of The Little Shop of Horrors.  They performed brilliantly and it was a real showcase of the successful year they have had.

All the children and parents now know who their class teacher is for next year and tomorrow morning all children will have a ‘Meet The Teacher’ session.  Click HERE for details of the staffing arrangements for next academic year.  As you will see form the list there are some teachers who are leaving us and going on to new adventures and also some new teachers joining our team.  Rebecca Gilvear started at OGPS in 2014, she has been on maternity leave since December and will be in next week for a final week to say good bye to the children but will not be returning in September as she will be continuing her teaching career in a school closer to home.  Anna Joseph has been at Oxford Gardens for 2 years and earlier in the year she moved to Peterborough where she is taking up a teaching post in a new school.  Simone Joseph joined Oxford Gardens in the Spring Term when she took over Giant class, we are incredibly grateful for how quickly she settled into the routines and systems at OGPS and wish her well.  We wish Rebecca, Anna and Simone all the best for their new adventures and are excited to welcome new staff to our team,  The children will meet the new staff tomorrow and you will get a chance to meet them at the start of the year.
