January 2021 - Update

During this period of partial school closure, you will find key pieces of information in this section of the website.  As always, please contact us for any additional support that you may need.

We recognise that this is a very difficult period for everyone and ultimately, yours and your family’s mental health, needs to come first. The most important thing is that your children are safe, loved and cared for and we know that you are providing that for them.

We do have high expectations and we are setting quite a lot of learning each day, but all we ask is that you do your best.  Everything that we have outlined below is a guide; but you must adapt it so that it works for you and your family.  Please remember that whenever we go back to school, we will help your child to continue to learn, at their own pace and from whichever starting point they are at.

We have deliberately chosen Seesaw because your child/children can access the learning at a time and in a way that suits you and your family.  We have staggered the zoom lessons so that each year group is at a different time, because we are aware that the majority of our families only have one device in the household

Please click here to access our remote learning document, which outlines all the relevant information and systems.  It outlines the number of lessons we are offering per day and how to access everything that we do.

Please also remember that on a Wednesday, we provide a weekly book drop for children in Unicorn, Elf, Gremlin and Gnome classes. It is vital that children have access to a wide range of reading material so that they are enthusiastic to pick up books and subsequently develop as fluent confident readers. So, no matter what class your child is in, please get in touch if you need to refresh your books and we will organise this for you.

As always, please do not hesitate to call or email us if is anything at all that we can do to support you and your family.

We are here to help.

Lockdown 2020

Please see below the weekly plans with resource suggestions that were uploaded for all year groups throughout the previous lockdown in 2020, including plans for the Easter Holidays.

We know that many children enjoyed these activities, which provided a variety of challenging and fun learning projects and tasks.

We have made these permanently available so that everyone has a wider range of learning materials that can be downloaded and used to support your child's home learning programme.
