FOGS stands for Friends of Oxford Gardens School and all staff children and parents/carers automatically become a member of FOGS when they start the school.
FOGS was established in September 2015 with 2 aims:
1) Raising funds for the school
2) To strengthen the school community by organising events where all members of the school community can meet and socialise.
This year the school are raising money to go towards a cover for the school’s Sports Pitch. This will enable the pupils to have outdoor PE lessons throughout the year and during lunch and playtime when it is raining the children will still be able to be outside.
Throughout the year there will be many different types of events ranging from smaller events such as a second-hand uniform sale or a cake sale to a larger scale event such as a Summer Fair and a Pantomime. Some events which are indoor will only fit a smaller number pf people so tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis but most events will be for all members of the school community.
