Year 2 have had a fantastic Spring term! We have had many amazing experiences, including going to Kew Gardens and taking part in a Florence Nightingale workshop at The National Portrait Gallery which was linked to our IPC topic 'People from the Past'.
In English we explored poetry using Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech as inspiration. We have moved on to writing non-chronological reports.
In Maths we had so much fun learning about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties. This week we have been working with money. We have explored the different coins and notes and investigated different ways to make amounts.
Spring term has been wonderful and we are looking forward to Summer term and all the lovely learning it holds!
